During this window Servers Australia Network Engineers will be completing the integration of the Rack Central Core network into the Servers Australia Core Network. This integration includes upgrades to Core Switching and transit links along with moving all routing onto the Servers Australia Core network.
During this time, customers will experience 1 outage up-to 30 minutes as routing is removed from old Rack Central providers and moved onto Servers Australia core network
During the above times, Network Engineers will be upgrading multiple core routers within our Melbourne datacentres. Customers may experience 2x 5 minute dropouts as routes re-converge around the devices being replaced.
As part of these upgrades, a new transit service with a third provider will also be added into the Melbourne transit pool, and customers may see new, improved routes into the Servers Australia Network.
